Bob Seger to bring 'Runaway Train' tour to Pittsburgh

This fall, legendary Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band will be making a pit stop in Grand Rapids.

The 72-year-old Detroit native will start a two-month North American tour August 24.

Nancy Wilson, of the band Heart, will join Seger for some dates on the tour. The release for the show says it will be Seger's "last time at Sprint Center". They go on sale for the other three MI shows on Friday, June 9.

Seger played to a sold out crowd in 2006 when he kicked off that tour at Van Andel Arena. Bob Seger fan club members will have special access to purchase tickets in advance on Tuesday, June 6. Meanwhile, Ramblin' Gamblin' Man will be issued on 150-gram black vinyl on June 2nd and will also be offered for the first time on blue-colored vinyl on June 9th. His many other singles include "Hollywood Nights", "Still the Same", "Old Time Rock and Roll", "We've Got Tonight", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Against the Wind", "Her Strut", "Roll Me Away", and "Like a Rock".
