President Donald Trump is assailing internal leaks as he considers an overhaul of his White House staff.
Thursday: NBC News reported that Kushner is a subject of particular scrutiny in the FBI's ongoing Russian Federation probe. At a December meeting with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, Kushner reportedly suggested using secure equipment at the Russian embassy or one of the Russian consulates to open a secret communications channel with the government of strongman Vladimir Putin.
The Democratic National Committee called for Kushner's security clearance to be suspended until after the FBI investigation is concluded.

The couple spent the weekend at Trump's Bedminister Golf Club, where they married in 2009, for a planned trip with their three small children.
The White House has denied that Trump pressured Comey in any way, though the Federal Bureau of Investigation director is believed to have written detailed memos on his discussions with the president that indicate the opposite. The New York-based Kasowitz has always been the President's lawyer and is helping represent him on matters related to the inquiry into his campaign's alleged ties to Russian Federation. Trump officials were preparing to establish a "war room" to address an issue that has begun to dominate his young presidency.
After criticizing the media for writing "fake news", at length during a press briefing on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was asked to give an example.
And while it's not weird for presidential campaigns to meet with foreign officials, under this context, it was. "It's good to be back!"
But, on Tuesday, Trump tweeted an article from Fox News, which dealt with the recent reports surrounding Kushner, which quoted an unnamed source. "Jared is doing a great job for the country", he told the Times Sunday night. "He is respected by virtually everyone and is working on programs that will save our country billions of dollars", he said.
And the fact that we know that Kushner isn't exactly the most beloved figure in the White House, having already had a very public run-in with senior strategist Steve Bannon back in April.
With someone so close to Trump in the cross hairs, special counsel Robert Mueller has every reason to examine any relationships between the Trump campaign and Russian officials or oligarchs in minute detail - and also to look closely at any Russia connections the Trump and Kushner family business empires might have. And she worked with Congress on anti-human trafficking initiatives.
