According to Media reports, a massive explosion had rocked the Afgan capital Kabul city. The health ministry said the people injured were taken to various hospitals, but it did not give any word on fatalities.
But some damage to the windows of the embassy building has been reported, they added.
Reports say the explosion happened in an area close to foreign embassies and the presidential palace.
According to reports, the vehicle bombing occurred at the gate of the German embassy. "It is hard to say what the exact target is", Mujahid said.
Witnesses said dozens of cars were blocking roads and some wounded people could be seen. The blast shattered all windows of the Indian embassy. Kabul province had the highest number of casualties in the first three months of 2017 thanks to multiple attacks in the city, with civilians bearing the brunt of the violence.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the blast, but the attack came as the Taliban group steps up their annual "spring offensive".
