Ozil is hankering for a £350,000-a-week deal, while Sanchez is after similar pay terms. There is no structure aside from Arsène Wenger, and whether it is now or in two years, Wenger will leave the club.
"I think this situation for sure creates a bit of difficulty in your mind because if you start to think we are always in danger, we have died before we die", said the Italian.
Writing in his column for BBC Sport, Shearer said: "It has been a hard campaign for the Gunners, who missed out on a Champions League place for the first time in 20 years, and they have been under huge pressure - particularly their manager Arsene Wenger".
He complained, with justification, that Alexis Sanchez's fourth-minute opener for Arsenal should not have been allowed to stand due to a "very clear" handball, but admitted his team's start "wasn't good enough".
Adams, who led Arsenal to 10 trophies as the club's most successful captain, also criticised Wenger for his "weird relationship" with money, suggesting the manager should take a pay cut in order to increase the wages of Arsenal's junior coaches.
Diego Costa levelled for a below-par Chelsea after Victor Moses had picked up a second yellow card for diving in the Arsenal box, only to see Aaron Ramsey head home the decisive goal three minutes later.
The Frenchman claimed the triumph was one of his proudest moments, alongside the 2003-04 Arsenal team that won the title without losing a single league game.
Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck didn't get on the scoresheet, but he was a threat to Chelsea's defence with his tireless running and astute movement. I expect Wenger to stay with the club, as most reports have suggested is likely, and as such, there will be a new wave of vilification and criticism of the club, Wenger, the players and the board.
"I am convinced we were hurt by the uncertainty about my future with the players", Wenger said.
The Champions' first real chance came after 28 minutes when Costa got the better of Rob Holding and fired a shot straight into the face of David Ospina.
It was perhaps Chelsea's worst 45 minutes since they conceded three first-half goals at the Emirates last September when Conte switched to three at the back.
