Foo Fighters get plug pulled at BottleRock Festival, keep playing anyway

Foo Fighters had the plug pulled on them by festival organisers during their headlining gig at BottleRock in the Napa Valley, but that didn't stop Dave Grohl and co. from finishing their set.

The band were ending their show at the California festival on Sunday 28 May with their Everlong anthem, when the sound appeared to cut out after their 10pm curfew. Get off stage by 10 pm or we're pulling the plug.

Playing an enormous 20-song setlist with the usual crowd-pleasing favourites, including a cover of Queen's Another One Bites The Dust and 867-5309, the performance finished with an unpredictable surprise. They also report that the Cure was unplugged in 2014 because of the curfew.

Foo Fighters were joined at the festival by fellow headliners Tom Petty and Maroon 5.

Despite Grohl's mic appearing to cut out, the band continued on with their crowd of devoted fans helping them sing the rest of the classic 1997 track.
