Reports also say that Kushner proposed that a secret communications channel could be set up between the Trump transition team and Russian Federation.
I guess we can put that one down to jet lag, as President Trump had just returned from an entire week and a half of talking to the always welcoming Saudis, the Israeli government and the pope.
Going back to Montana's special House election, in which body slamming Republican candidate Greg Gianforte emerged the victor, Trump wrote, "Does anyone notice how the Montana Congressional race was such a big deal to Dems & Fake News until the Republican won? #FakeNews is the enemy!" The idea, said one of Mr. Trump's advisers, is to create a system so that tweets "don't go from the president's mind out to the universe".Comey has authored a memo that said the president asked him to drop an inquiry about former national security adviser Michael Flynn's ties to Moscow.
The latest furor was stirred up after The Washington Post reported late Friday that Kushner - arguably Trump's closest White House aide, and husband of the president's eldest daughter Ivanka - made a pre-inauguration proposal to the Russian ambassador to set up a secret, bug-proof link with the Kremlin.
"British Prime Minister May was very angry that the info the United Kingdom gave to USA about Manchester was leaked".
The president did not hold a press conference during his nine-day trip, leaving top White House aides to give brief remarks and take a few questions.
Conservative commentator and Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol also weighed in on Trump's Sunday morning allegations.
The president also wrote about his plan for health care and tax cuts.
"The massive TAX CUTS/REFORM that I have submitted is moving along in the process very well, actually ahead of schedule. Big benefits to all!" he said.
According to Trump, per Twitter, his "active" presidency means that "it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with ideal accuracy".
In the tweet above, Trump didn't specify which anonymous sources he is taking issue with.
As a result of the sense of crisis enveloping the Oval Office, Trump is said to be weighing changes at the uppermost ranks of the White House.
