Gaanam Nair aka Jikki Padhoo, a Chennai-based model who was missing since May 26, returned home after four days on Monday, May 29.
Gaanam Nair's cell phone has been switched off since then and a social media campaign has been launched by her friends to find her.
Gaanam, who is reportedly into modelling and photography, was travelling from Virugambakkam to Nungambakkam for work on her two-wheeler on Friday morning.

According to reports, the 28-year-old model has directed several short and ad films and was also working with a modelling agency in Chennai. The K.K. Nagar police registered a case and two teams were formed to trace her. Her mother is no more and her father resides in New Delhi.
Gaanam, according to the police, stays with her aunt and cousins in Chennai. Though her family members searched for her in the city, they could not locate her, following which a police complaint was lodged.
MISSING since 26th morning.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, T.Nagar, P. Saravanan said, "Our teams traced her today and she is normal". She was also active in modeling.
Her friends and well-wishers have now taken to social media to express their anguish and anger. Had it been an accident, we would have got to know by now, her friends say.
