Game of Thrones Season 6 ended back in July 2016 and since then, fans of the critically acclaimed series have been eagerly waiting for the next season to arrive.

At the end of last season, Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) dragons and her huge army were finally on the way to Westeros, where Cersei (Lena Headey) has now become Queen after the death of her children. Jon is the King in the North. Sansa is with Jon, but has Littlefinger whispering in her ear, trying to divide them. Arya Stark is mounted upon her horse, but where she is heading is unknown. Post which we witness Daenerys' dragons flying high and preparing for war.

It seems a good bet that Ser Davos is referring to the threat of the Night King, whose terrifying visage is featured in key art for Season 7. The trailer is definitely packed with battles, and fans of the Stark family will be excited to see the surviving children together.

The 30-year-old actor achieved worldwide fame by starring as Jon Snow and is looking forward to taking some time away from the spotlight after filming wraps.
