The performance was in celebration of the song's 20th anniversary. Hudgens, who hosted with Ludacris, also sang Dion's "I'm Your Lady" and wowed with her fashion choices. While accepting the Icon Award, Cher spoke about the many years she's spent doing what she loves.
The actress attended the celebration of some of the most successful performers of the year, handing out the award for Top Male Artist.
For her performance of "If I Could Turn Back Time", the singer re-created a look she wore back in 2010 at the VMAs - a black see-through jumpsuit with jeweled detailing that revealed her black underwear.
The seven-member group accepted the Top Social Artist award during the 2017 Billboard Music Awards at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, beating big-name American competitors, such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and Shawn Mendes.
When asked why she thought the signature song from Titanic was an instant classic, she said "I think it's because it was not supposed to be a part of the movie, period".
She noted she was told early on that she never was the most handsome or the most talented, but she was special and added that "luck has so much to do with my success with a little bit of something thrown in".
