Carrie Fisher would have led 9th Star Wars film

We were pretty close.' All that kind of stuff. Our favorite one is a loving picture of Luke and Leia, brother and sister reunited. You can find her on the internet. From Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford, who took this journey with her from the beginning, to the words that Carrie shared with Daisy Ridley, they all had a special place in their hearts for the Princess.

Speaking to Vanity Fair recently, Hamill opened up about his reaction to Luke's character and admitted he was disgruntled after reading what writer/director Rian Johnson had planned.

Carrie Fisher was a force to be reckoned with. But it was an eleventh-hour idea to shoot Hamill and Fisher together.

I know it's awfully cliché, but if you had to ask me what my most anticipated movie of the year is, I would answer in a heartbeat: Star Wars: The Last Jedi. They held a competition to see who could get to a million Twitter followers first.

Lucasfilm just recently celebrated the 40 Anniversary of the Star Wars franchise yesterday with articles and images on The Last Jedi flooding the internet after Vanity Fair released its 40 Star Wars anniversary cover story for fans to go wild over.

Leibovitz was on safer ground at London's Pinewood Studios, where most of The Last Jedi's interior scenes were filmed. Indeed, while Leia's role in The Force Awakens was in a supporting capacity, the big moment (s) justifying her presence in the sequel trilogy was clearly set for Episode IX, something that Kennedy's comments seemingly affirms.

Although Fisher won't officially be in Episode IX, there will most definitely be plenty of her story left to tell and that should be comforting to fans. 'I was thinking, O.K., let's go ultra-glamour.

Carrie lived her life the way she wanted to, never apologizing for anything, which is something I'm still learning.

I thought it would have been more effective, and I still feel this way, though it's just my opinion, that Leia would make it as far as she can, and, right when she is apprehended, maybe even facing death-Ba-boom!
