'Baywatch' Sequel Already in the Works?

But it's a testament to that show's weirdly global popularity that I still know who some of the cast was (Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, worldwide superstar David Hasselhoff), what it was about (beach lifeguards who also managed to thwart a lot of crime), and why people watched it (several big bouncing reasons).

The character of Ronnie (played by Jon Bass) is there for the same reason that Ron Jeremy has prevailed in porn, so that ordinary, uncool guys can excitedly point and breathlessly intone, "If he can make it with the ladies, then, by God, so can I!"

The remake of the campy 1990s television show is expected to pull in a big holiday-weekend crowd, and those heading out to see Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron take on the waves will want to know if there's a scene after the credits to keep them in the theater a little longer.

Did you see Baywatch yet?

However, early reactions from movie-goers have been more promising, with 65 per cent of viewers giving the film the thumbs up. "It was an awesome kiss and one off the bucket list for me for sure", he said. "It's exactly what I think we need right now". You perk up, because it's been a while since you laughed at anything, and now this wild-eyed dude, who can't wipe the smile off his face, has promised you a dumb joke that you now anticipate to be amusing. You can tell he had a fun time making this movie and you can also tell he really gave it all he's got and put on his try-hard trousers and the end result pays off.

It goes without saying that, in real life, very few of us indeed look as good as the Baywatch lifeguards as they dash down the beach in their orange swimsuits.

"We have an unbelievable story already", Flynn told Variety. You pat him on the shoulder, stand up with your beer, and head outside, where the cool ocean breeze blows his memory straight out of your mind. Johnson does a lot of motormouth ragging on Efron.

You've made two movies with The Rock.

The original hit series starring David Hasselhoff, also known as "The Hoff" and Pamela Anderson ran from 1989 to 1999, with a spin off, Baywatch Hawaii airing from 1999-2001. And even if you hate it, at least you get to spend nearly two hours of your time staring at some of the most handsome men and women you'll ever see. Their involvement was more than conceptual - in one, we actually saw the exposed penis on screen several times throughout the joke, and in the other it was clearly outlined.

They may very well love them.

The bottom line: If you want a movie to go see this summer that will make you laugh and also serve as the biggest motivation you could ask for to hit the gym, then run (very slowly) to a movie theater near you, sit back and enjoy the very handsome view.
