Two future British kings attend Pippa's wedding

Kate Middleton's husband, Prince William, and their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte all attended what the papers are calling "the wedding of the year".

Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was reportedly a little anxious that her children might misbehave at her sister Pippa's wedding, according to news reports, but it turns out that the royal children were on their best behavior - and they almost stole the show.

Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle was a no-show for Pippa Middleton's fairytale wedding ceremony - but the actress had very good reason for not being there.

Both Prince George and Princess Charlotte served in the wedding party, as did Duchess Kate.

However, she didn't attend the church ceremony, despite Harry arriving alongside his brother, William.

Prince William walked up to the church accompanied by younger brother Harry.

Kate purposely did not perform bridesmaid's duties as she didn't want to steal her sister's shine but she was seen adjusting Pippa's veil and making sure the kids stayed quiet and orderly.

"Right now Harry and Meghan are leaning towards not wanting to attract extra attention, especially on a day that's not about them", an insider shared with E!

But the couple were later pictured driving into the Middleton family's nearby estate where the night time reception was held.

Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle travelled 3,000 miles to the reception, and was picked up by the Prince who made a 100 mile round trip.

Her disappearance is a sign of respect to Pippa's wedding and an attempt not to steal the show from her maintaining it as Pippa's big day.

Aside Markle, Pippa's wedding with hedge fund manager James Matthews was graced by a slew of VVIP guests.

Tennis star Roger Federer and his wife were among the guests.
