Trump says he never mentioned Israel to Russians

"Palestinians are ready to reach for peace", Trump said. "These leaders voiced concerns that we all share about Iran's rising ambitions and rolling back its gains".
So Trump is, in those remarks, kind of putting Israeli-Palestinian peace kind of in the center of the agenda.
He added: "I will call them, from now on, losers, because that's what they are". Last week, the Trump administration waived sanctions under the Iran deal, but slapped new sanctions on Tehran over its ballistic missile programme.
On Monday, he stressed the strong bonds between the United States and Israel.
Trump walked down the red carpet at Ben Gurion airport side by side with the Israeli first couple, leaving the US First Lady few steps behind. Trump and Netanyahu never talked about a two-state solution to the problem, but Abbas did.
Security in Jerusalem was on high alert with more than 10,000 patrol units involved in securing the two-day visit, according to police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.
Bethlehem is located across from Israel's controversial separation wall, which was built during the second Palestinian Intifada.

After meetings with Arab leaders in Saudi Arabia, the president has been pushing the prospect of peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
The gestures included enlarging of a Palestinian industrial zone, examining the possibility of extending Israel railways to the West Bank town of Jenin and easing movement of Palestinians at various checkpoints.
Hundreds of stone-throwing youths clashed with Israeli soldiers firing tear gas and rubber bullets.
Dozens of Palestinians were injured while rallying across the West Bank on Monday in support of about 1,000 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli detention on hunger strike for more than a month.
Trump's next stop is Rome, where he arrives Tuesday evening.
The internet is heavily scrutinizing first lady Melania Trump's body language toward President Donald Trump during their first trip overseas since he took office in January.
Trump's vagueness on one of the region's central issues did little to dampen the enthusiasm surrounding his visit, particularly from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
