Producer Allu Arvind in an official statement said that they felt after watching the trailer of Raabta that Maghadheera is a remake of the movie.
As of now, Raabta is definitely one of the most awaited movies of this year.
Later to this, Ramesh posted a screenshot of a text message which read, "Magadheera filmmakers go to court against "Raabta" and seek an injunction against the film's release".
Magadheera became a landmark film in Telugu cinema, which paved the way for several period films like Arundhathi, Panchamukhi and of course, the Baahubali series.
The concept of two estranged lovers meeting in different life is something that we had already seen. Since the trailer of Raabta has been out, it is being said that the scenes and story are looking same like Magadheera.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's starrer "Raabta" is all set to hit the big screen on the 9th of June. According to popular trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the makers have claimed a copyright violation since Raabta has copied the former's unique storyline.
Now Magadheera makers want a ban on the release of Raabta and they have made allegations on Raabta makers for stealing the story.
