Klopp on Liverpool transfers: 'We are pretty much done'

Only once, though, has the north London club come close to winning the trophy " losing to Barcelona in the 2006 final. We have to prepare for the game against Watford in the same way because we need a result.

"That's the competition that exists now in England and I think Everton will be on the scene". We had a few big rivalries but time has ended all that and I think we have big respect.

"For next season, you need to respect every competition as we've always been doing and carry on the momentum, trying to win as many games as you can and keep the team together".

The Turkish origin midfielder will join the Germany national team for the Confederations Cup and miss the start of the pre-season for Liverpool. "It could have been tense, but I felt we kept the composure, stayed confident and in the end it was very comfortable". After unbelievably successful stints Barcelona and Bayern Munich, the Spaniard was expected to immediately turn Manchester's other club into one of the continent's elite teams.
