Celine Dion Pays Tribute to Manchester Victims During Her Las Vegas Show

The musical legend honoured the 22 dead during her show at The Colosseum, Las Vegas.

We're hearing that despite the possible threat, Sin City performers - like Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and the Backstreet Boys - intend to go on with their shows as scheduled. We're filming this and we're going to send it across the ocean to those lovely souls, so let's do that.

No less than 22 people were killed during the bombing following the Ariana Grande concert, which is now known to have been perpetrated by 22-year-old suicide bomber Salman Abedi.

"They will be seeing you, they're going to feel your love", Dion added, raising her arms above her head.

Her voice breaking, she rounded off, "Thank you", as the audience broke into spontaneous applause.

The words "Manchester, we are with you" were also projected on a screen behind her. "So if you put yourself in my shoes, I could not refuse".

Simple Minds performed elsewhere in Manchester last night, explaining why they decided against calling off their show.

Taking to the stage at the music award show to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the song's release, Celine reprised the track from the Titanic soundtrack to rave reviews from viewers and her peers alike. "I pray that you will receive the courage and strength to get through this".
