'Arsenal win over Chelsea would be a shock, Mertesacker is playing!'

Wenger is under a lot of fire from fans, many of whom want to see the club's longest-serving manager gone before next season. I still have two years on my contract.

Mustafi suffered his concussion in last Tuesday's home win over Sunderland and he was forced to sit out the Everton game.

Arsene Wenger has revealed that he has a double dilemma in terms of squad selection for Arsenal's FA Cup final clash against Chelsea on Saturday (27 May).

Laurent Koscielny and Gabriel Paulista are ruled out through suspension and injury respectively, while Shkodran Mustafi is rated as a major doubt owing to illness.

Prevailing against Chelsea, the Premier League champions, certainly won't be an easy task, but Wenger will hope that his team are fully focused and ready to make a major impact against Antonio Conte's team.

He said: "Gabriel is out for 6-8 weeks".

Koscielny was dismissed in the first half of Sunday's 3-1 victory at Emirates Stadium after a late challenge on Enner Valencia.

"We know that we've got the opportunity of playing in the FA Cup final, and it's something we really want to do our best in".

Needing a win to make sure of a return to Europe's premier club competition, Jurgen Klopp's side looked edgy early on but the tension was lifted just before halftime when Dutchman Georgino Wijnaldum scored from a clever pass by Roberto Firmino.

The Chilean global will undergo some fitness tests before his availability on Saturday is determined but Wenger appears confident Sanchez will be available for selection.

Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis said: "As always, the safety of our supporters and staff is paramount and we are in close contact with security services".

"Arsenal are struggling in defence", Merson, who is predicting a 3-1 Chelsea win, told Sky Sports. But Wenger once again expressed confidence that the forward will remain a Gunner and that it "will be completely our decision" whether the club sells any of their players.

"The club, of course, has a big job to do in summer; we want to keep players like Alexis and end all the speculation about what could happen".
