Aly Raisman Calls Out Airport Worker for 'Muscles' Comment

The 22-year-old Olympian took to Twitter to respond to an unacceptable incident she experienced while going through airport security. I get it. If you can't compliment me and you're a girl, you're sexist.

The athlete went on to say that situation was "uncomfortable" for her.

Raisman posted on Twitter on Wednesday that after a female Transportation Security Administration worker said she recognized Raisman by her biceps, a male employee said, "I don't see any muscles".

'Man at TSA: "I don't see any muscles" and continues to stare at me.

It is unclear what airport Raisman was in when the incident occurred, but she was traveling from Turks and Caicos. "The fact that a man thinks he [can] judge my arms pisses me off".

The Boston-born sporting star, who opted out of college in favor of working as a professional athlete after her Olympic success, jetted off for a sun-soaked getaway last week alongside former US National Team members Maggie Nichols, Alyssa Baumann and Sydney Ewing. If you are a man who can't compliment a girl's [arm muscles] you are sexist. Get over yourself. Are [you] kidding me? "It's 2017. When will this change?" she wrote.

'We have reached out to Ms. Raisman via Twitter, requesting more details of her experience to look into this further.

After receiving comments slamming her for feeling "entitled", Raisman countered by posting a now-deleted tweet that read: "I'm not entitled just stating he hurt my feelings".

If I found out someone was a member of a two time gold-medal-winning Olympic gymnastics team, the last thing I'd do is underestimate them. "Thanks for forcing me to learn to love myself and my body".
