Martyn Hett's 'soulmate' pays heartbreaking tribute after Ariana Grande concert bombing

His friend Ryssell Hayward said: 'We got the news last night that our wonderful iconic and attractive Martyn didn't survive.

The popular YouTube star was a writer and PR manager who made appearances on television documentaries and reality shows such as Come Dine With Me (which he won) and Tattoo Fixers.

In one of his most endearing social media posts, Hett implored friends to help out his "mum", whose craft table setup at a local market had not yet attracted any buyers.

It came shortly after the family of 15-year-old Olivia Campbell confirmed she was among the victims of Monday night's attack.

The Telegraph has profiles of the victims named so far.

Martyn had been at the concert with a friend but the Manchester Evening News reported that he went to the bar around 20 minutes before the explosion and did not make contact again afterwards. She was loved by everyone and her warmth and kindness will be remembered fondly. His brother, Dan Hett, said "we are heartbroken".

And when a person notified Mariah Carey's friend Liron that Martyn, who previously met the songstress and had her T-shirt signed, had died, he wrote back.

He is one of a number of people that are still missing since the deadly blast.

"Jason replied: "@.ArianaGrande you gave those kids the night of their lives, their hearts were full of joy and happiness and that was because of you.

A fan website called Ariana Updates has shared a post saying: "News on Ariana: Ariana has reached out to the families whose loved ones died last night.she is gonna pay for the funerals!"
