Google Brings Family Features to YouTube TV, Calendar, Keep and Photos

Google has slowly been expanding each of its apps to work better for families.

Google wants its users to share content as quickly and easily as possible, which is why the company has been rolling out features to make that a possibility. You can head to the source link below to set that up, along with Google Play Family Library, Play Music family plans, Google Calendar, YouTube TV, and Family Link.

Popcorn. Snuggles. Sniffles. Families share a lot of stuff-and now we're making it even easier to share and stay connected with each other by giving you more to do with your family group on Google.

Family groups are comprised of up to six people, with the "manager" granted administrative duties.

You can find out more at the Google Families website. And finally, a shared Photos group means that anyone in the family can add photos and videos to the same album without much hassle.

On Google Keep, you'll be able to share and collaborate on notes, which could be helpful for things like shopping lists and chore lists. You are more than welcome to leave that group and join another, but you can only do so once every 12 months.

Google Calendar. Google Calendar is already free, but by adding family members, you can all keep track of each others' schedules and create and manage family events on a special family calendar.

These family sharing features will roll out starting today in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom and the US.
