Cher squeezes back in to her one of her most iconic outfits

Those were just a few of the captivating moments from the 2017 Billboard Music Awards at T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday night, broadcast live on ABC.

No one's really surprised Drake won Top Artist.

The insider claims that Dion did her best to hide her real feelings regarding Cher's win "But Las Vegas is her stomping grounds, and she felt like she should have been allotted more time for her performance".

As well as Drake's many victories, the night belonged to some classic divas, with performances from both Celine Dion and Cher.

The singer, who first found fame as part of Sonny & Cher in the 1960s, still hits the road touring, but Sunday's showcase was her first in an awards show in 15 years. But shortly after Dion left the stage, she couldn't help but burst into song once more - but this time, she was singing along to Cher's performance of "Believe".

"So, tonight, I want to say, Vanessa Hudgens you look incredible tonight", he said, much to the dismay of the "Anaconda" songstress.

Then it was Cher's turn to speak to the crowd, who she impressed with her witty but humble acceptance speech.

Later on she showed up in one of Cher's iconic stage costumes and danced along to Cher's performance from the audience.

Onstage, Drake told Vanessa Hudgens she looked handsome. "I think it was mostly luck and a little bit of something thrown in".

But band member Rap Monster, who spoke on behalf of BTS, spoke in English for the majority of his speech, saying: " We still cannot believe that we're standing here on this stage at the Billboard Music Awards". Performing "Gyalchester" from his latest album More Views in the pond of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino there was a pyrotechnic display that blew all others out of the water.
