Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United: Arsenal legend discusses potential summer transfer

His compatriot, Sanchez, suffered contrasting fortunes as his Arsenal side failed to finish in the top four of the Premier League for the first time since the 1995/96 season, meaning they will miss out on next season's Champions League.

ALEXIS SANCHEZ is eyeing a move to Manchester City this summer but his agent is trying to encourage the Chilean to join Bayern Munich.

The Chilean is linked with nearly every Arsenal rival while their commonest Champions League adversary of recent times, Bayern Munich are also eyeing a move for the player. The Chile global recently revealed that he is happy in London but remains frustrated at the Gunners' inability to mount a sustained challenge in the Premier League and Champions League. The number two has two years left on his contract but is in talks with Fenerbahce over a £5million move, according to the Daily Mirror. Everybody wants him because it's easier now than if he had three years left. I think he still needs to take that step forward to fight to be among the best in the world and, in order for that to happen, he has to join the best team in the world.

"He would do great here". He is a very good player, he has a lot of quality and he is young.

"We hope he will get the chance to come here because if he comes he will show all his talent".

Either way, Chilean journalist Maks Cardenas has certainly confirmed he has strong doubts regarding Alexis Sanchez being an Arsenal player come next season. In fact, his overall record of 29 goals and 19 assists this season is absolutely awesome, considering he did play wide for a chunk of the season.
