Which of the submission holds do you like better? Kevin Owens beat John Cena, and it propelled him into the stratosphere. Samson catches Ambrose coming off the top rope with a big boot, and after both men end up on the canvas, Miz runs down and attacks Samson. One by one, he tells how Brock will destroy his competitors in the fatal five-way match. He has secured the right to choose the stipulation for their match at Extreme Rules. Then, Dean Ambrose interrupted him. He proved that tonight.
That accounts for all of the WWE championships now on Raw except for the Universal Championship, which is not being defended until July. Ladies and Gentlemen, his name is Paul Heyman.
In under five minutes Heyman was able to build up Balor's credibility more than Finn or the WWE has been able to do in the past month.
Finn Balor has a match and goes through his ring entrance and everything.
Otherwise it's just "you're really great, so is he, this should be a great match" and then Balor loses before being pushed aside for the much bigger guy in Braun Strowman.
Extreme Rules is just under two weeks away, but next week's Raw is getting loaded in a hurry.
Also, maybe WWE should reconsider Elias Samsons ring entrance, even though this is the first time hes done it on the main roster. He wondered if the fans thought Rollins could protect him, but Rollins' destiny will end at Extreme Rules because he sacrificed him last week, and Joe as well. For so long, the Bizarre One has been floundering in the tag division. On Raw on May 22nd, Matt Hardy won a match against Sheamus, which meant that he got to pick the stipulation for this match; he decided that it will be a steel cage match.
Could Heyman's promo have been calling the shot for who will walk out of Extreme Rules as the number one contender or could this possibly be a hint at a future angle between Balor and Brock Lesnar's advocate?
Little Miss Bliss is vicious.
Another match that has been announced is a matchup between Bayley and Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship. A mighty swing to make Mark Trout jealous (Corey Graves making that analogy) wrapped the stick around the back of the former champion Mickie James. Anyway, for the actual match itself Bliss got the win as she survived a tremendous assault from Mickie James with a textbook punch to the noggin and DDT.
At the end of Monday's episode of Monday Night Raw, Raw Commissioner Kurt Angle booked two matches featuring the Extreme Rules main eventers. The show was kicked off by the Eater of the Worlds Bray Wyatt proclaiming that he will win the main event and rip apart the chest of the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and went on to issue warning to all other competitors before the Big Dog Roman Reigns made a decision to confront Wyatt. The crowd was hot and the four men didn't disappoint. The show was headlined by the likes of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt in a tag team encounter.
