Iran Accuses US of Arming 'Dangerous Terrorists', Spreading 'Iranophobia'

Hassan Rouhani was the victor of the so-called elections in Iran, last Friday, and will serve a second term as President of the Iranian Regime, but as many Iranian experts have pointed out, this changes nothing about the Regime.

United States President Donald Trump has lashed out at Iran, citing Tehran was responsible for the instability in the Middle-East.

Within hours of Trump's speech Rouhani's rivals were hitting at him hard, calling him responsible for Trump's attack, as well as for the diplomatic success of Saudi Arabia - Iran's regional archrival - in apparently uniting numerous Islamic nations against the Republic.

The president made the remarks on Monday in his first press conference after his reelection.

When asked how he forsaw his country's relations with the US, Rouhani said he hoped the Trump administration would "settle down" and try to understand his nation better.

He also called the Saudi summit a "show-off" convention that "will not have any political and practical values".

"The problem is that the Americans do not know our region and those who advise USA officials are misleading them", said Mr Rouhani, who easily defeated hardline challenger Ebrahim Raisi in last Friday's presidential election. "In Syria, they made mistakes, and also in Yemen". Trump has threatened to try to renegotiate the deal. Is that a serious foreign policy, he asked, or is the USA "simply milking" Saudi Arabia for billions of dollars?

King Salman said: "Our responsibility before God and our people and the whole world is to stand united to fight the forces of evil and extremism wherever they are..."

The first daughter spoke with Saudi women who are civil leaders, businesswomen and elected government officials during the president's first foreign trip.

Macron, who has also been recently elected as president, congratulated Rouhani on his re-election, saying the re-election reinforces hope that Rouhani's government will continue to rigorously apply the nuclear deal which allowed relations between Iran and the worldwide community to enter a new phase.

"Our missiles are for our defence and for peace, they are not offensive".

US President Donald Trump has implored Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern countries to extinguish "Islamic extremism" emanating from the region.

"We will uproot terrorism and will bring stability to region in 4 coming years", Rouhani said.

He also said Iran would continue with its ballistic missile program.

"We love Israel; we respect Israel".
