Iain Glen Hails Season 7 Scripts As The Show's Best

We can't wait for the season to begin (due on July 16, 2017) but for the time being let's look at these exclusive photos while we wait for our "winter" to arrive.

The latest batch of photos reveal less new information, but the most notable takeaway is Dany riding a fucking enormous dragon into battle.

New photos of the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 7 included a glimpse of new dragons and behind the scenes. Cersei Lannister had better watch out, because Daenerys is on her way to take back what is rightfully hers!

Pointedly, the photo of Jon Snow also has him on a horse. Season 7 left us with a lot of questions, and with only 2 seasons left, we should be getting a lot of answers soon.

"I wrote to Dan [Weiss] and David [Benioff] and I said I thought they were the best seven episodes they've ever written ..."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Glen said that for his character the story will be all about whether he will survive this dreaded disease. There's no sense of treading water. From pretty close to the beginning, we talked about doing this in 70-75 hours, and that's what we'll end up with.

So now that we know Daeny has the (literal) firepower to bust her way onto the Iron Throne, what other things can we expect from the highly-anticipated seventh season? It is expected to run for just seven episodes, down from the usual 10. If that is indeed her goal, then she's likely to be disappointed: at this point, Jon is far more concerned with the impending invasion of White Walkers than he is with the political maneuverings in the Red Keep.
