Wenger did not especially want to talk about the other big topic either, the fact that Sunday's game against Everton will be the last league match of his current Arsenal contract.
Wenger's future is still up in the air as the Frenchman is still yet to publicly announce if he will sign a new contract to remain in the job beyond next weekend's FA Cup final against Chelsea. They are fifth in the Premier League, one point behind Liverpool and three behind third-placed Manchester City.
We should be confident of doing our bit as we have an excellent record against Everton and they come in to the game having not won in their last seven games away from home.
It remains to be seen whether the match will mark the last Everton appearance for Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley, whose futures at the club are in doubt. Chelsea, crowned champions last week, finished 10th a year ago.
"Wenger, who has been in charge at Arsenal for more than 20 years, appears as if he is not about to accept such a drastic change of direction".
Since he arrived in English football as Southampton boss in 2014, Koeman has faced Arsenal six times and been victorious on four occasions, the latest being when Everton beat the north London club 2-1 at Goodison Park in December.
Watford said this week that manager Walter Mazzari would step down after the final game of the season against Manchester City.
"Everybody likes to play in Europe".
While a positive result at Anfield will not be easy, the Gunners will be keeping a close eye on the result with their Champions League qualification hinging on Middlesbrough gaining points.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal all are chasing success on the final day of the 2016-17 Premier League season. If they lose this final then it would seal another season without a major trophy.
One thing that might spur on Arsenal fans to replace Wenger with Allegri would be his daughter, who is also often seen sporting Juventus clothing and making the odd appearance at the Juventus Stadium - something that the Arsenal fans could definitely get used to at the Emirates. They will be playing Champions League football next season for only the third time.
"This season has been a disaster, we must not make the same mistakes", Adams was quoted on Granada's official Twitter site.
Jurgen Klopp: "The Champions League, for different reasons, is a wonderful competition. It's been hard to accept, but at the same time I've learnt lots and learning about yourself helps you move forward", via BBC Sport.
