"He was injured two times in the season but he is so fresh now and he is trying to score a lot of goals to finish at the top".
He took ten shots and only scored four times - a bad night for Harry Kane?
Heung-Min Son scored a brace to take his season's total to 21, meaning Spurs now have three players surpassing the 20-goal mark with Kane and Dele Alli.
Kane got his hat-trick with one minute of regulation time remaining, cutting inside from the left and finishing powerfully on the near post before he added his fourth in the 92nd minute to go two goals clear of Romelu Lukaku in the Premier League goal-scoring charts.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has set himself a target of reaching 100 Premier League goals before the end of next season.
The 23-year-old became just the 33rd player in Premier League history to score four goals in a game, and has now scored 26 league goals this season.
There has been speculation that Kane could be tempted away in the transfer window, with Manchester United among the clubs to have been linked in the past, but Pochettino says Spurs are building a project that should appeal to all of their best players. Nevertheless, it is a good idea not to bet on the result since the price is not a good one. "His performances show that we are right".
But Pochettino insists Tottenham are not in a position to sell any player who they see as important to the squad.
"Going into the game two behind, I was hoping to get one or two last night and keep myself in the race for Sunday, so to get four and win 6-1, I couldn't have dreamed of that".
"Every season we try to improve, and next season and the season after when we move to the new stadium we want to not only try to keep the performance but also win trophies". They have a tough game against Arsenal but there's still one more game.
'I'm not resting on my laurels, and I'll go to Hull looking to get four more hopefully'. So I think this is fantastic.
Leicester, who are yet to make a decision on manager Craig Shakespeare's future, played their part in an entertaining game.
That theory has now well and truly been quashed as Harry notched up his 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th goal of the season in a 6-1 drubbing of Leicester, bringing his overall Spurs tally to 72 in three seasons and 75 overall.
