Isner records upset of Wawrinka in Rome

The 20-year-old will now take on fifth seed Milos Raonic, a 6-3, 6-2 victor against the 12th seeded Tomas Berdych.

Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova, the seventh seed, suffered a 2-6, 7-5, 6-4 defeat to Australian qualifier Daria Gavrilova.
