Cleveland Browns sign Myles Garrett, the top pick in 2017 NFL Draft

The No. 1 overall pick in last month's National Football League draft, Garrett signed his four-year rookie contract with the Cleveland Browns, who gave the speedy defensive end an estimated $30.4 million package that includes a $20.3 million guaranteed signing bonus. But because Brown and Garrett play the same position and were drafted first overall by the same team, Brown will shadow Garrett like the Grim Reaper until Garrett proves he is worthy of the Browns' confidence.

The Browns' official Twitter account posted a short video of Garrett signing on the dotted line.

The four-year deal is worth $30.4 million guaranteed, including a $20.25 million signing bonus, according to reports. No wonder the former Aggie defensive end was eager to hear "Kiss From a Rose" Friday, he's clearly feeling the love from the Browns. You are trying to go out there and win games just like they are. Physically, you guys have seen him. "They're not going to shy away from the challenge, and neither are we". So we hope surrounding him and doing the right things, he can become that great man.

Garrett's deal surpasses last year's No. 1 pick, Jared Goff.

"Having reviewed the matter, including interviewing the alleged victim and multiple other witnesses, it is apparent that there is no reliable evidence upon which an arrest or prosecution would be warranted or legally justified, and the sworn complaint is therefore being dismissed", the state attorney's office said in a news release.

Cleveland has signed six of the 10 players the club drafted last month.
