Police said that the suspects had stolen a vehicle that was transporting a body from a funeral home. A delivery driver reported seeing the body, still strapped to a gurney around 7:00am.
Both Albrecht and Crow are facing charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Drew told The Eagle he did not know if the deceased person's family had been notified of the theft.
"This is a very rare, one-time situation here", Drew Stackhouse said. He also reportedly works for another funeral home as well. The driver couldn't be reached for comment Friday morning. The commission is charged with overseeing the licensing and compliance of such businesses.
The investigation has been turned over to the Bryan Police Criminal Investigation Division and is still ongoing.
Bryan Police have charged two suspects for stealing a funeral home vehicle, and dumping the body inside.
Crow has been arrested in Brazos County at least 14 times before Friday, including four times this year alone.
Brazos County Chief Deputy W. James Stewart tweeted a picture of a gurney, saying the body was ditched in rural Brazos County.
