Try Dunkin' Donuts' new frozen coffee for free Friday

Earlier in May, the coffee-and-donut chain launched Frozen Coffee, a blended beverage replacing the chain's cult favorite Coffee Coolatta. You'll also be able to customize your full-size drink with different flavor swirls and flavor shots as well as your choice of cream, whole milk, or skim milk.

Dunkin' Donuts introduced Frozen Dunkin' Coffee at the beginning of May as a permanent addition to its coffee lineup.

Dunkin' Donuts is offering guests free samples of their Frozen Dunkin' Coffee on Friday from 10am to 2pm. The complimentary sample measures 3.5 ounces. Coffee lovers rejoice!???? Frozen Dunkin' Coffee is finally here! Last summer, the chain launched cold-brew coffee, something that it says helped "democratize" the drink.

However, some customers are less than enthused about the loss of the Coffee Coolatta. There is no purchase necessary to win the prizes, but participants must be aged 18 or older. For official rules and additional information, visit: http://dunkinpromotions.com/.

If you can't make it during the sampling event, members of Dunkin' Donuts Loyalty Program, DD Perks, will earn a free beverage with the purchase of a frozen Dunkin' coffee.

Dunkin' Donuts is promoting a new beverage and providing some relief from the summer heat at the same time. On May 19, 2017, Snapchat users can unlock a special Snaptchat geofilter at their nearest store that will add a frozen or icy filter to their photos.

The swap is part of a bigger effort to emphasize more coffee-centric beverages as coffee culture increasingly becomes mainstream.
