Miocic 2nd UFC heavyweight defense is rematch vs. Dos Santos

Is Joanna Jedrzejczyk destined to continue her undefeated career?

Earlier today, headliner and heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic weighed in at 246 pounds.

UFC 211 is less than 24-hours away and the fifth episode of Embedded was released on the UFC's YouTube channel.

Jotko is also a reliable performer, having gone 6-1 in the UFC to date, and having only tasted defeat once in his 20 fight career.

On the one hand, Branch hasn't lost in almost five years, stringing together 10 consecutive victories as the former WSOF middleweight and light heavyweight champion (simultaneously, mind you).

Not long afterward, dos Santos reposted the photo with a message of his own: "it's gonna be a honor to compete with a true champion like your husband".

Edgar won the UFC lightweight championship at UFC 112 by beating Penn. Her last bout resulted in a Fight of the Night bonus after she dominated Angela Hill in a unanimous-decision win. "I learned a lot from that fight, not just about him but about me, too".

This great card continues to deliver fascinating stylistic match-ups, and it should be fun to watch how the savvy veteran Edgar fares against the creative offense of rising star Rodriguez. That's what Edgar needs to do to win this fight and that's when he is at his best.

Known for his ability to change levels on fighters more comfortable with keeping the fight standing, Edgar is a nightmare matchup for just about anybody at 145 pounds not named Jose Aldo. She has a tendency to start slow and pick up steam through the middle and championship rounds. Maia has six straight wins, with his most recent coming against Carlos Condit in August. All it took was one grappling exchange and Maia reminded us of what he was capable of doing.

Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal came up as a street fighter in the same area that produced the late Kimbo Slice. Chances are he won't be given the opportunity here.

On the one hand, Jedrzejczyk has looked unstoppable from the moment she stepped into the cage with Carla Esparza in March 2015.

Campbell on why he's taking Miocic: In the two-plus years since they first met, all Miocic has done is improve and evolve. Undeterred, the Clevelander bounced back to capture four straight, including a knockout win over Fabricio Werdum to usurp the throne. The one thing we know for sure is that Lesnar's prime didn't last long enough for us to find out. Most importantly, he's also achieved a remarkable amount of consistency.

Why? While he may be a better overall fighter than Junior dos Santos in 2017, nobody is ever really all that safe inside the cage with "Cigano".

Dos Santos, the No. 5-ranked heavyweight according to ESPN, is 18-4 overall, including 12-3 in UFC.

Miocic insisted that he wasn't going to lose. He had knocked out Cain Velasquez in his previous bout to win the title and then gave it right back to him in losing a unanimous decision in his next fight.

But in the end, the night will be all about which nice guy finishes first.
