Patti LuPone shades Madonna, calls her a 'movie killer'

She should not be in film or onstage.

While Madonna did win the Golden Globe for her performance in "Evita", it seems a lot of critics would agree with Patti's "movie killer" jibe, as the "Rebel Heart" singer has bagged more Golden Raspberry awards in the Worst Actress category than any other star.

"Madonna is a movie killer", she continued.

"I thought it was a piece of sh*t", LuPone said to host Andy Cohen.

Patti LuPone thinks Madonna ruined the movie Evita. She's dead behind the eyes, she can not act her way out of a paper bag.

The mother-of-five is yet to respond to the scathing attack - however, with credits in successful film ventures such as Desperately Seeking Susan, A League of Their Own and Die Another Day and Broadway appearances including Speed-the-Plow and Up for Grabs, she may have the last laugh. "She's a wonderful performer for what she does, but she's not an actress".

And viewers of the show were bowled over. When Cohen announced that Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller was the evening's "Jackhole", LuPone shouted, "She's going to jail!" adding that the reality star's year-long prison sentence is "not enough". "I thought it was a piece of shit", she said. Patti LuPone was the actress who originated the iconic role on Broadway when the show first opened in 1979.

Patti LuPone is not a Madonna fan, clearly.

Patti LuPone was burning up with her Madonna critique Tuesday night. He said, "She [Michelle Obama] and Madonna - now that I have publicly said that those are the two people". She even won a Tony award for it. "She is the only one that understands how to go from dialogue to song so that it makes sense".

She couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.

ABC Radio has reached out to Madonna's reps to see if the Queen of Pop has a reaction to LuPone's comments.
