'Morning Joe' hosts Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski engaged

The cold open of this week's edition of NBC's "Saturday Night Live" parodied the relationship between MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, who recently revealed they're engaged. Despite the heated arguments between the two, they couldn't help but get super-mushy with each other as they talked politics.

Beyond the make outs, a publicist named John Miller, who says he's with President Trump every single day, calls in to discuss the bill - and that caller is clearly Trump (Alec Baldwin) himself. "I'm sort of new here".

"Miller" was calling up to congratulate the president on repealing and overturning Obamacare.

"We were sitting here just about 24 hours here yesterday", Brooke Baldwin said to her guest, "and critics pointing out, I'll just be blunt, a lot of white guys in ties celebrating at the Rose Garden ceremony". In 1991, the real Donald Trump famously did a odd interview with the Washington Post, during which he actually pretended to be his own publicist.

Obviously, "Miller" was shocked to learn that Obamacare has not yet been repealed as the AHCA still needs to pass through the Senate. Scarborough remarked to The Hollywood Reporter last month that he and Brzezinski "have a crackling on-air chemistry, and a crackling off-air chemistry, too".

In response to this reminder, "Miller" proved to be just as ignorant as his boss when he asked, "What, now?" before stuttering, "But...there was beer".

When Alex Moffat's Scarborough points out the Senate still has to pass the bill, Miller responds, "What now?"
