Family ties test the unconventional 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

Without spoiling anything, we know the Guardians will be dealing with Ayesha, who has a long weird history in Marvel's comics. "I didn't want it to be a rehash of the first movie".
Now as "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" prepares for launch in North American theaters on Friday, the story is quite different. As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, high expectations are of course surrounding the flick, though if recent reviews are anything to go by, viewers are in for a lot of fun when they hit the movie theatres. However, none of their franchises has been quite as impressive at this feat of zero-to-hero recognition as Guardians of the Galaxy. While Gunn mentioned that he has already been discussing Gamora's rise in significance with Saldana, it is still too early to say just how the importance of her role will be manifested in the upcoming film. If the spells of Peter Quill, Gamora or Rocket have never really been threatened, one of the characters who takes a lot of importance in this new chapter has nearly left his skin in the first film. This weekend, the Guardians will once again take to the stars in James Gunn's highly anticipated sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
The Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Kurt Russel and Sylvester Stallone starrer Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has been released in the United Kingdom but will release in the U.S. on 5 May.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL.2 rocketed into #1 at United Kingdom and Irish Box Office this Bank Holiday Weekend with an awesome estimated £17.85 Million within its opening four days. I mean, so, in the first movie she was this angry, bitter villain and we sort of understood why, but we didn't really get into the details.
