Antonio Conte won't see out three-year Chelsea deal claim football panel

Conte believes Chelsea are in for a tough game, with Boro still in with a mathematical chance of avoiding relegation. The Black Cats defeated Hull on Saturday, giving Boro a reprieve before the inevitable drop.

"The pressure in this stage of the season is normal and you must cope with this", Conte said. Anything less will risk the title, and that is unacceptable.

Chelsea coach Antonio Conte spoke on the eve of the match against Middlesbrough and addressed the market topic, in particular the continued rumors that want him as Inter's next coach, "Do the rumors on Inter annoy me?"

"I want players ready to fight". The same for us is that we have to win.

By the time Chelsea host Middlesbrough on Monday, their lead over Tottenham could be cut to one point if their rivals win at West Ham on Friday.

"I think there are three days before the game and I have the time to make the best decision".

The Dutch defender stepped into Luiz' role in the middle of a back three in the final minutes of last week's win over Everton and impressed there, just as he had done on the left of the trio for 90 minutes against Tottenham.

"Thibaut trained today and yesterday, I don't see any problems with him, " Conte said.

Conte is seeking a league and FA Cup double in his first season as Chelsea head coach, with the FA Cup final against Arsenal on May 27 to come.

"You speak about "happy.' I speak about 'to win" and to work very hard".

Prior to this season, Conte had spent the entirety of his 11-year managerial career in his Italian homeland, and in February there was speculation in the British press that he was feeling homesick.

"I think that my target is to put in the mind a winning mentality - it doesn't exist to keep the players happy".

"He's been more of an attacking midfield player this season in numerous games he's played and he's a real threat, as you have seen with the number of goals he has scored in the Premier League this season".

"But for sure now it's important to finish this season and then find the right solution, to prepare our team to face next season".
