Wizards' Oubre suspended for Game 4 for knocking over Olynyk

Forward Kelly Oubre Jr. of the Washington Wizards has been suspended for Sunday's Game 4 against the Boston Celtics after being ejected for knocking a player to the floor, the National Basketball Association announced on Saturday.

The suspension really isn't a surprise given the nature of the incident, as most expected Oubre to be held out of at least one game. Game 4 is Sunday in Washington.

Oubre said Friday that he retaliated against Olynyk because of repeated hits by the Celtics center. "The league has to do what they have to do".

Oubre got angry after an illegal screen set by Olynyk put him on the floor. Oubre charged Olynyk and knocked him to the floor with a forearm to the chest.

The Wizards won 116-89 to cut the Celtics' lead to 2-1 in the second round. We're a next-man-up team.

Utah played hard, Utah played well, but Golden State comes at you from all angles on offense: Durant 25p/11r/7a; Curry 23p/4r/7a/2s; Green 21p/7r/6a/4s (5 threes); Thompson 14p/6r/6a/2s; Iguodala 10p/5r/4a; Ian Clark 8p/2a.

His absence will likely mean more run for the Wizards starters, and possibly more playing time for reserve Bojan Bogdanovic. "Those are all on the table right now".
