Prabhas revels in 'Baahubali 2' success

Baahubali 2 achieved a notable distinction at the United Kingdom box office over the weekend; it features in the top 10 twice as the Hindi and Tamil versions of the film were accounted for separately. The second installment of the Bahubali franchise, which stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia in lead roles, is witnessing a mad rush at the ticket counters. It now stands with a grand total of whopping 860 crores (approximately) at the global box office. Trade pundits have already predicted that the film will create Rs 1000-crore club for Indian film industry.

The partial Labour's Day holiday, helped the movie sustain great numbers at the box-office on Monday. All languages in 4 days! But, Baahubali 2 is the film which has broken all the records both worldwide and in India.

The director of the movie, SS Rajamouli is also happy with the response that the movie has garnered worldwide.

Karan Johar, who is one of the co-producers of the film, shared an ecstatic tweet.

The film was hard sold by its team. Dangal was the fastest grossing Rs 200 crore movie, and it took Aamir's starrer 10 days to gross the amount. It is the first Indian film to top the charts in United States. "#Baahubali2 has achieved the feat..." The humble Baahubali actor is now celebrating the success of his magnum opus that release last weekend. "HINDI... India biz. In 66 IMAX theatres worldwide including North America, Australia, Middle East, Africa and India, the film grossed Rs 14.77 crore (USD 2.3 million) in its opening weekend. It could be the first Telugu film to even gross over Rs 200 crore only from Telangana and Andhra.
