Mauricio Pochettino wants Tottenham to attract world's top talent

Kyle Walker's future at Spurs remains in doubt after Mauricio Pochettino failed to quell any of the recent speculation concerning his full-back, telling the Independent that any decisions on his players futures will be made in the summer.

“Kyle is on the list for Fridays match and I can not confirm whether he is happy or not because these are just rumours, and if I commented on every rumour my press conferences would be two hours long, ” Pochettino said. He maybe can advise us on different things. "Kyle is on the list for".

The Tottenham manager was asked about his side's summer plans ahead of Tottenham's match with West Ham on Friday. "We are thinking a lot now about what we need to improve next season to perform better than this season - the changes, the shape, the methodology - always thinking about helping the team and the players to be better".

The ambitious boss believes Spurs are on their way to becoming an elite club and is determined to hold on to many of his stars.

Pochettino and his players must prepare themselves for a fierce welcome at the London Stadium tonight with Slaven Bilic stoking the Hammers fans for a "massive night".

Spurs have received plenty of plaudits for their excellent form this season and now sit four points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea with four games to play. "It's about trying to win games and points".

The north London club have shown some significant signs of progress since Pochettino's arrival in 2014 and are still in contention to win the Premier League title this season.

'It's a good question, because we can't look at Man City or Chelsea or Man United, or watch European football every week and say "yeah we want him". In the last two seasons we are more than first. "He was supportive. He said to me, "I know very well that you are so upset - and that is why I don't want to disturb you". This is my reality and how I know him.

"I was so upset and sometimes, he gives me a few days, no messages, no calls and then he came, face-to-face". We will see what happens.
