Baahubali 2, Box Office Collection - DAY 6: Film's Hindi Version Races Ahead!

Baahubali 2 beat Aamir Khan's PK (2014) and Dangal (2016) to take the top spot in the list of highest grossing Indian films. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser and Sathyaraj in important characters.
India does not report box-office figures, but according to local media accounts, Baahubali 2 collected 3.85 billion rupees ($59.8 million) at the country's box office, which is the biggest opening of all time.
Baahubali 2 is also drumming up record business overseas - the U.S. box office posted weekend numbers of nearly Rs 70 crore.
In the Telugu States AP and Telangana, Bahubali 2 grossed almost Rs. 15.5 crores on the 5th day of its release When we take 5days collection, it grossed RS. 140.78 crores. The film that is released in four languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam - registered business of Rs 128 crore in Hindi and Rs 175 crore collectively in other three since Friday. The possibility of the film making Rs 1,000 crore has been floated by experts. Baahubali collected Rs 887 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the first week.
The film speaks volumes about the visual technique, gripping story telling of the master filmmaker Rajamouli and the answer to the enigmatic question "Why did Kattappa killed Baahubali" which made the audience to flock to theatres in large numbers.
The first installment of Baahubali (which means "the one with strong arms") earned a muscular $100 million worldwide, including $77 million in India.
Southern star Prabhas not only left his fans and followers surprised with his films but also created headlines for his looks.
The Hindi theatrical rights fetched the makers Rs 120 crore, and in Andhra and Telangana, the film earned the makers Rs 130 crore from the sale of its theatrical rights.
The first part, Baahubali: The Beginning, released in 2015 and also destroyed the box office.
By the end of this Tuesday, Baahubali 2 grossed Rs 707.63 to 717.63 crores in worldwide with a share amount of Rs 376.43 to 381.43 crores. Baahubali 2 continued to rock the ticket counters even on Monday, as it was a holiday.
The Hindi version of the film stands at Rs 375 crore in 6 days. However, Prabhas welcomed none of the proposals and only glued to work for last 5 years - that proves his commitment for films.
