Since shocking the NFL last April by trading the No. 2 pick to Philadelphia and the rights to Carson Wentz, the Browns have become the league's leading wheelers and dealers. It remains to be seen if the Steelers would have selected Njoku at pick number 30 if the Browns didn't trade up ahead of them.
On being paired with Myles Garrett in the Browns' defense: "I think it's going to be a sight to see". The Pats have two picks in the third round, at No. 72 and No. 96.
The 2017 NFL Draft will restart at 7:00 p.m. ET Friday night, with second and third round action.
With a chance to get Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson at No. 12, the Browns sent that pick to Houston for the No. 25 selection and the Texans' first-round pick in 2018. Houston then took Watson, the dynamic playmaker who led the Tigers to a national championship last season.
The Browns on Thursday selected MI safety Jabrill Peppers with the No. 25 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
The Cleveland Browns hold the first pick yet again after finishing just 1-15 last season.
Garrett, a freakish athlete who has been accused of sometimes taking plays off, could help change that. He missed his rookie season because of a stress fracture in his left shin and was limited to four games previous year because of a fractured left fibula.

"I want to be the best", Garrett said. "Now, it's time to put in that work so I can be prepared to go against the best".
Garrett, who has drawn comparisons to longtime NFL standout Julius Peppers, had 11.5 sacks as a freshman and the next season was a finalist for the Lombardi and Hendricks Awards as college football's top defender with 12.5 sacks and five forced fumbles. He was the Big Ten's Linebacker of the Year and made the first team after collecting 72 tackles, 16 for loss, four sacks and an interception.
Tretter was ranked as the No. 13 center in the NFL last season by Pro Football Focus, allowing just two sacks in 488 snaps for the Green Bay Packers in 2016.
The only way to describe the feelings after the Browns drafted Myles Garrett is relief.
"He was like, 'I told you that I wouldn't leave you hanging". "That made my night".
On what it's like to be a MI player drafted in OH: "I'm not really anxious about the Buckeyes". It doesn't matter what they say. We understood that. This is a great opportunity to really add a player and add another player next year that we hope will be again another impact player for us. "That will speak volumes when you finally get there".
