Janet Jackson separates from husband, plans to resume tour

"I thank god for him, you guys", she said.

Jackson said the series of shows will now be called the State of the World tour, though performances will not be as politically charged as the name might suggest. I expect Jackson to flaunt her body in revealing clothing and give the floor a few dry humps.

In a video message to fans, she described him as "so healthy, so attractive, so sweet, so loving, such a happy baby".

Janet Jackson has confirmed her split from her husband just a few months after giving birth to her first child at 50.

In addition, she also briefly addressed her separation from her newborn son's father, 42 year old Wissam El Mana, a Qatari billionaire operating in retail, which was reported widely back in April.

Pop star Janet Jackson has announced she will resume her world tour in September, after postponing 75 dates a year ago in order to start a family. "He's so healthy, so attractive, so sweet, so loving", she said.

Tickets held for previous Unbreakable tour events that are now re-scheduled will be honored at the new dates. "It's about people, the world, relationships and just love", Jackson explained.

"It's me Jan", Janet says adorably in a video posted on Monday night.

"It's not about politics", she said.

The 56-city "State of the World" tour starts September 7. Her new "State of the World" tour kicks off on September 7 and Austin is the third stop of the run, on September 10.

No one does it on stage like Janet and her fans can't wait to see her on tour which starts...*drumroll*...

Tickets, which will range between $29 and $125 (plus fees), go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster.
