The Red Devils were without a handful of first-teamers for Thursday's 0-0 draw at Manchester City and are stretched even thinner for Sunday's match after Maroune Fellaini was sent off for a senseless headbutt on Sergio Aguero and Tim Fosu-Mensah injured his calf after coming off the bench. United are also now without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo, Juan Mata, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.
Jose Mourinho's side extended their unbeaten run to 24 games in 0-0 derby draw against Manchester City.
"I think Eric and Daley played absolutely wonderful again".
"United, if you remember, they have one chance or two chances all 90 minutes?" "I'm also training hard in the gym so I can be an option also".

They have also proved a real thorn in United's side in the past, having won four of the last seven meetings in all competitions, including a pair of 2-1 victories at Old Trafford in 2014 (one in the FA Cup, one in the Premier League).
However, former Arsenal striker Wright is backing Manchester United to secure another three points in their pursuit of a top-four finish against Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.
After the game Mourinho claimed he had not seen the incident but suggested Aguero's reaction had convinced Atkinson to dismiss Fellaini. "Yeah, it's an option. You could say he has dangled a leg to get the contact, but he is (going) down before that, before there is any kind of contact".
Midfield is another problem area for United at the moment, but they can still call upon the experienced Carrick, who has produced some excellent displays this campaign. We are in trouble, but we fight. With a maximum of five rounds left, the identities of the bottom three who will be relegated into the second-tier Championship come the end of the season have still to be confirmed.
"The group was a nice group, honestly", said Mourinho, as he reflected on his first impressions of the United players.
"To have lots of players not playing is also something the players don't want", he said.
"They had more ball, they had more chances but I have to defend the players and the spirit of my players and say they were unbelievable the way they fight", he said, after his team extended their unbeaten run to 24 games. The players are very exhausted. I think it must be unique in football - two cruciate ligaments in the same match.
"I'm sure Pep Guardiola has learned more this year than in any other year of his management", Lampard told talkSPORT.
