Toronto Raptors even series 2-2 against Milwaukee Bucks

This road win means the Raptors will now have the opportunity to take advantage of home court and take a lead in the series back at the Air Canada Centre on Monday.

In his first playoff game, Norman Powell put 12 points on the board for the Raptors.

No team has won back-to-back games and the Raptors are coming off a win when the atmosphere in Milwaukee was hostile, one of the loudest crowds head coach Dwane Casey has been around - and he has been around the block. "It's a tough way to live, but I love our team's resilient personality".

As the sixth place team of the Eastern Conference, finishing off with 42 wins was still more than enough to secure a postseason advancement for the Bucks. They had an atrocious 16 in Game 4. I'm sure they're going to make adjustments.

The Bucks didn't appear to have any answers or counterpunches of their own.

St. Louis recalled left-hander Tyler Lyons before Thursday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

No Milwaukee player had what you would call a huge game, but nearly everyone contributed in their own unique way.

This was supposed to be a series where the playoff hardened Raptors would be tested, but use it more as a tuneup for the Cavs. Each team made 5 three-pointers, too.

And thats no easy feat in a matchup with a young Bucks side that head coach Jason Kidd has completely under his spell. They were able to get back more quickly in transition to throw a wall of bodies at him, a smaller Toronto lineup let the Raptors switch defenders of basically the same size on to him, and no one else from the Bucks was doing enough damage to loosen up the Toronto defence.

"We just gotta come in motivated, high energy, knowing that we can do it again", Thon Maker said.

"We seemed to be walking the ball up".

"Just our overall physicality was much better in certain situations where we need it to be. It's still a challenge but we figure it out". He finished with 14 points, on 6-of-19 shooting, with nine rebounds, four assists and a season high-tying seven turnovers.

The Raptors went 4-1 this season following losses by 15 points or more. He looked nearly unstoppable, torching every defender Milwaukee tried on him.

Casey hinted there could be changes to his rotation. “We had to treat tonights game like it was Game 7, with that type of intensity on their home floor, and we did a great job.”. "We weren't passing the ball due to turnovers, but we've got to move the ball and find the open guy and trust that the open guy will make the play". Afterward, he agreed with his coach's assessment of Milwaukee's performance. But after the way Game 3 went I'm concerned. "This is awesome, just look at it, it's like a college atmosphere down here", said Tim McCann, Bucks fan. We even got a game-winner to boot. To antagonize the Raptors, a blow-up Bucks mascot ate an inflatable Raptor during a timeout. In the NBA Playoffs, the Raptors are facing Bucks at BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI on Saturday. "We try to keep things simple and have fun with it, and they do all the work". A lot of us have been in this situation before with a lot of great players. A few dozen fans made the trip from Toronto for the game.

Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo falls after fouling Toronto Raptors' Serge Ibaka during the first half of Game 4 of an NBA first-round playoff series basketball game Saturday, April 22, 2017, in Milwaukee.

Gasol hit a 12-foot floater with 0.7 of a second left in overtime, and the Grizzlies beat San Antonio 110-108 in Memphis on Saturday night to even their Western Conference first-round series at 2-2.
