Newcastle United FC interested in Premier League veteran

Newcastle forward Ayoze Perez has backed manager Rafa Benitez to be at the club for "many years" after helping the Magpies secure promotion back to the Premier League.

Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is demanding a huge transfer budget if he's to stay with the Premier League new boys.

Newcastle were relegated last season but Benitez, who was in charge for the final 10 games, chose to stay on after Ashley agreed to back him with a £50million transfer kitty.

"I'm not going to Newcastle, at the moment".

One thing that Mitrovic has learned this season, despite his lack of games and goals, is that the English second tier is much more physically demanding than the Premier League.

ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC hopes he will still be a Newcastle United player next season - but the striker admits he is still to discuss his long-term future with Rafael Benitez.

Benitez also scored wins off the pitch, mounting an offensive charm with the supporters and the local press, who had felt shut out by an increasingly inward-looking club frustrated by years of under-achievement. "I'm really proud of everyone because we knew it would be hard at the beginning, when everyone was saying, "Rafa has no experience of the Championship and it will be tough", he said.

"Hopefully we can put in the foundations for something that will be a guarantee for the future". When we have lost, we have bounced back straight away.

Elliot added: 'Everyone was as surprised as we were when he came in. And the commitment he showed to stay, that is the biggest thing.

"The fans are incredible, they deserve the best, the best football, so we did everything this season to bring them again to the Premier League. However, he made sure each and every player had a part to play and everyone is really happy at that".

"Now is the time to enjoy what we have done".
