On domestic matters, Trump has received the most applause for nominating Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court; Gorsuch was confirmed by the Senate after a partisan fight.
President Donald Trump is calling for "big reforms" to the United Nations and criticizing its handling of recent events in Syria and North Korea.
The email, sent to the White House press mailing list, highlights the 30 executive orders and 28 laws Mr Trump has signed since taking office.
He says he's long considered the organization an "underperformer".
"There's no question we should try to reduce (the corporate tax rate), but I don't see how you pay for getting it down that low", Casey said. "I think that's going to start happening now".
But Scott McCommons, who said he had been a Democrat before voting for Trump in the election, said he regretted his vote for the President and felt Trump had failed to live up to his self-made reputation as a great negotiator. And he says the council should be prepared to impose additional sanctions on North Korea. "We still think he can get a tax bill by winter, with an effective date no sooner than January 1, 2018, but the tax cuts won't be as profound as Trump wants". With a vote on the congressional spending bill scheduled for Friday, it is unlikely that Mr Trump will be able to force a vote on tax reform before his first 100 days are up.
Trump urged his top economic advisers, including Mnuchin, to ready a rollout for this week and to keep the details of the plan controlled as much as possible by Trump advisers and Cabinet members rather than by Republican lawmakers, officials said.
"We were at 15 percent from Day 1", Kudlow said, lamenting that Trump's new economic advisers had discussed scrapping the campaign tax plan.
Trump has called a president's performance in the first 100 days a "ridiculous standard" for judgment.
Trump has also failed to make progress on building a wall between the USA and Mexico.
Speaking on Fox News on Tuesday, Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway said: "Building that wall and having it funded remains an important priority to him but we also know that that can happen later this year and into next year, and in the interim you see other smart technology and other resources and tools being used toward border security".
Meyers also brought up Trump's flip-flop tweets on the border wall.
Gallup's daily tracking poll has Trump's job approval rating at 40%.
Schumer asserted that Trump "seems to be in a little bubble with some very, very rich people".
The White House is banging the drums that President Trump is doing something big again ahead of his 100th day in office - unveiling a tax "plan".
As President Donald Trump prepares to mark his first 100 days in office April 29, the White House issued a scorecard trumpeting "historic accomplishments" and saying he had accomplished more in that time than any President since Franklin Roosevelt. "Blocked. And surprise, surprise, no one wants to pay for his wall".
The 100-day mark falls on Saturday, the same day government could shut down without a budget deal.
