Kingsman: The Golden Circle official trailer released

While many were introduced to the Kingsman franchise in when the first movie was released in 2014, it existed a couple of years before that. Technically Kingsman already existed as a comic, titled The Secret Service from Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits cinemas on September 29.

In the Matthew Vaughn-directed follow-up featuring Taron Egerton, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges, the Kingsmen travel to Kentucky, where they meet the U.S.' the Statesmen.

Firth also shows up in the clip, which marks the first time the British actor has been seen in any of Kingman: The Golden Circle's official promo.

It looks even better than the first if that's possible. Also coming back to help, as had always been revealed, is Colin Firth's Harry Hart. According to the trailer, this catastrophe leads them to America, where the spies are called Statesman and not Kingsman.

The two join forces with their USA counterparts, Statesman, to "band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world". Today's debut trailer for the sequel goes light on the plot, instead promising us more top-shelf action, global locales and a bunch of new stars.

Halle Berry and Channing Tatum made their presence known in a just-released preview for the upcoming spy adventure Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

The biggest takeaway is the resurrection of Firth's Hart, who was seemingly shot dead by villain Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson). I guess you can't accuse these Kingsman movies of only reducing one country to its pop culture stereotypes.
