One of the former stars of Deadliest Catch has been arrested in Phoenix drug possession charges.
According to court documents, Harris drove from Washington state to Arizona, along with a female companion, and was staying at a Phoenix hotel.
Harris, 31, reportedly drove from Washington to Phoenix with an unidentified married woman, then took off with her auto Friday morning, according to the gossip website. We're told she reported the auto stolen when she couldn't get a hold of him, but called the cops when she found him at a Circle K the next day. She reported the vehicle as stolen when she couldn't get in touch with him but found Harris at a Circle K the next day.
The woman told police she and Harris were in town together on vacation.
Police reportedly found Xanax pills and crystal meth in Harris's possession.
Harris was on Discovery channel's "Deadliest Catch" series. He was initially booked for felony theft and two counts of felony drug possession. A Discovery representative told Fox News at that time, "We wish him the best with his recovery".
A judge in Phoenix appointed a a public defender to represent Harris and released him on his own recognizance.
His father, and former Captain of the Cornelia Marie, Phil Harris, died in 2010.
