Arsenal face Leicester on Wednesday night as they look to haul themselves back into contention for a top-four finish. It is not the first time, there have been a couple of times.
"It's going to be really special", he said. "Hopefully I will be the one celebrating".
Few had thought Arsenal would get as far as the Final when they were drawn with Manchester City in the semis but Arsene Wenger's side put in one of their most complete performances in recent months to come from a goal behind to win 2-1 at Wembley.
Alexis Sanchez scored an extra-time victor to secure a 2-1 win at Wembley on Sunday after Nacho Monreal had cancelled out Sergio Aguero's opener.
Per video replays, the ball bended back in-play and Sergio Aguero struck it over the goalline.
'Leicester will be up for it but at the same time you will think they will be in a determined mood to get a result, especially after Liverpool's defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
If (we) talk about the referee the FA is going to come in for the punishment if we think like that, but I think I need to sleep and rest and forget this game.
"You have periods where you prepare and do the right things then the game starts and it all goes wrong".
"We had a hard period where the team was losing games it should have not lost and obviously you come to the situation where you play under pressure and need to find a way out". "We need to make sure we win every game and that the effort, focus and determination will be the same as it was on Sunday".
"Transfer targets are the future of the club and are very important". Sometimes you find the answer to the difficulties you face, sometimes you don't.
They lie seventh in the table, albeit with games in hand on the sides above them, and their situation means Cech does not believe they can afford to bask in a satisfying moment of cup success.
Following the Leicester encounter, Arsenal travel on Sunday to their north London rivals, second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
"We are going to be under pressure in every game now, because the position we are in in the league", Cech continued. "We need to keep getting three points in every game to hope we can get the automatic qualification for the Champions League for next season".
