At a press conference promoting Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2, Pratt said: "I can say objectification is good for me because when I turned my body into an object that people liked I got paid a lot of money". Without having to establish characters, the sequel should have more time for corny team banter, 80s songs and spaceships blowing up.
That goes for some of the new or expanded characters, too. "But it doesn't so much deepen the first film as offer a more strenuous dose of fun to achieve a lesser high", the review reads.
As comics fans may already know, Mainframe is an alternate universe version of Vision from The Avengers who operates within the same fictive space as Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and company - though how the character will be adapted to suit the purposes of the MCU remains to be seen. To compensate, the film really takes its time exploring each of them. "I think they're really cool and I'm not a real tough critic on those movies".
He wrote: 'Yes, I'm returning to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'. I can accept less money because I just want to perform. Bautista has made it quite well known that he considers himself a fanboy when it comes to the pop culture realm. I won't spoil it, but there's a huge twist, the team reunites, and then the original Guardians of the Galaxy magic is back for the better part of its last act. I think it's a better film, I think it's a stronger film and I think there's a stronger message. Speaking in an interview withiO9, Pratt openly revealed that he enjoyed the films Warner Bros. was making for the budding DC Expanded Universe.
Chris Pratt stepped in it, big time, with some comments that created an immediate backlash, but the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" star also knows when it's time to step up and admit he was wrong. So I was like, I think she would be a amusing person to have as a voice [in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2].
Diesel says he hasn't thought about turning 50 in July ("It's just a number") but he could be thinking about applying his magic touch to other movie franchises.
The actor, who first became known for his role in comedy TV series Parks And Recreation, is now starring in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2.
